Damien Anthony Rossi

TV Presenter/Media Personality

Known as ‘Mr Hollywood in Oz’ after relocating to Australia from Los Angeles in 1990, Damien Anthony Rossi certainly knows how to spot talent, having been a film and television Casting Director for nearly 20 years and as Managing Director of his former company in Milton, Rossi Casting Group.

Damien is best known nowadays as a Presenter on Channel 7’s The Great Day Out  (formerly The Great South East) on Sundays at 5.30pm. 2016 was a busy year for Damien in his role as Ambassador for numerous high-profile events and festivals including the Channel 7 Brisbane Racing Carnival, Effervescence Champagne Festival, Noosa Long Weekend Festival and the Mackay Beach Horse Racing Festival.

Damien has also hosted his own annual charity event, Rossi’s Oscars, held on Academy Awards night  for two decades raising a quarter of a million dollars for cancer research and cancer charities.

Maria Becis

Becis Chartered Accountants/Run for Kids

Maria is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser and a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland. Since commencing her professional career Maria worked as a Senior Tax Consultant for one of the top tier professional services firms and as a Tax Advisor and Financial Accountant for several publicly listed companies. Immediately prior to establishing Becis Chartered Accountants, Maria was Financial Controller, Legal Counsel and Company Secretary for a commercial organisation.

Maria established Becis Chartered Accountants in 2008 with the specific intention of supporting and adding value to clients, Maria continues to be hands-on in the business.

Becis Chartered Accountants provides a complete range of accounting, taxation and business advisory services, personalised and professional services to small, medium and large businesses, not-for-profit organisations, investors and individuals.

Maria is also the founder of Run 4 Kids. Run 4 Kids is a not for profit organisation dedicated to raising awareness and funds for children’s charities through running and sports related events.

Angela Mogridge

Ruby6

Angela’s passion for business has been the driving force behind a vivacious career that has seen her embark on a range of ventures across a variety of industries. As founder and director of Ruby6, a cutting-edge branding, design and digital agency in New Farm, Angela is focused on providing strategic, creative, results-oriented solutions for national and international clients that include Tiger Air, Origin Energy, Aurizon, QUT, Style Magazines and Coles Group.

Inspired by an education and technology subject she took while studying to be a high school Maths teacher at university, Angela immersed herself into the digital world spending hours coding and creating websites for family, friends and contacts. With a rapid growth in demand the hobby soon led to the formation of Ruby6 in 2007 and a number of forays into the world of online tech start ups – Australian services on-demand site ONDI and UK based Daily Deals website, Go Wild Deals, in 2010 which went on to win ‘Best Shopping website of the year’ going up against big names Amazon and Tesco.

For the past eight years, Angela has continued to create and innovate and always keeps her eyes open for new opportunities, struggling to stand still like any other entrepreneur. She is passionate about the welfare of women and is excited to be put her busy feet to as part of Dancing CEOs 2016. Angela raised over $10,000 for Women’s Legal Service and starred on the stage to become People’s Choice Champion. Let’s see if our CEOs can match her performance in 2017!
