Josh Holt from Network Ten will return as our dynamic MC at Dancing CEOs 2018!

Josh Holt is the TEN Eyewitness News First At Five Brisbane Weather Presenter. He moved from Sydney to Brisbane in 2013. After finishing his degree at Sydney University majoring in English Literature and Media, Josh went on to do television presenting at the highly acclaimed NIDA in Sydney. He then studied at the Bureau of Meteorology headquarters in Melbourne and is currently completing his Masters Degree in Journalism.

Josh has now been presenting weather on Australian television screens for a decade. After accepting a role on The Weather Channel in 2007, he became the full time national morning anchor. He brought a unique style of presenting to the channel delivering a credible daily weather forecast while doing his best to make statistics easy to understand and entertaining.

During this time Josh accumulated thousands of hours of live TV experience, making regular appearances on Australian screens through the Today Show (Nine Network), Sunrise (Seven Network), and Ten News. Josh was awarded the Astra Award in 2010 for ‘Best News Coverage’ for the Black Saturday bushfires in Victoria. He was also nominated for ‘Most Outstanding Performance by a Broadcast Journalist’ both in 2010 and 2012.

In December 2012 Josh made the decision to leave Foxtel and pursue his free to air television dream. Shortly after in 2013 Josh joined Network Ten. Josh was highly commended within the industry for his on location work during the Brisbane flood crisis, Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasi that smashed into North Queensland in 2011 and recent events such as his on ground work during Severe Tropical Cyclone Ita.

Josh is an ambassador for the PA Research Foundation Men’s Health Campaign and Surf Life Saving Queensland. He hosted the very successful “Jupiter’s Summer Surf Girl” in 2014 and 2015 which raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for SLSQ to buy vital lifesaving equipment for Queensland beaches.

He has also been a regular weather expert on daily radio shows across the nation including: ABC, 2GB, 2UE, 4BC, MTR, 6PR NOVA, Tripple M and Today FM.
