Russell White

Australian Road Safety Foundation

Russell White’s experience in the Corporate Driver Training and Road Safety Industry spans more than 30 years and he is widely regarded as one of Australia’s leading road safety advocates.

He is the Managing Director of Driver Safety Australia and, also the Founder and CEO of the Australia Road Safety Foundation. The Foundation acts as a central agency for a range of road safety related events. These activities currently include the RoadSet – Year 9 Program, Fatality Free Friday and Rural Road Safety Month Campaigns and the Australian Road Safety Awards.

In both his commercial operations and in his work in the not-for-profit sector, Russell has demonstrated an ability to achieve a greater focus on road safety outcomes at the community level nationally.

When he’s not driving cars or saving lives on the road, Russell also loves the world of music and musical theatre. After not performing theatrically since high school, he returned to the stage in 2016. He has appeared in a number of community theatre productions including Bonnie and Clyde, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Saturday Night Fever, Jersey Boys and Singing in the Rain.

Despite this experience, he admits that dancing is an area that he is “terrible at and not very comfortable with”. However, he believes that it is important to push yourself beyond your comfort zone, especially to improve our society and save lives.

He is proud to be a part of this year’s Dancing CEOs and raising vital funds to support the Women’s Legal Service and all the critical work they do.
